The Car Show

I love painting old cars and trucks.  This is a 1949 Ford V8 Deluxe, in case you're wondering.  I think every car should be red!  I used a mixture of Cad Red Medium and Permanent Rose.  I always have trouble with the shadows on the reds, trying to keep them from looking too brown or too purple. This one was hard - but fun.

    I don't think you need any classes on painting cars! Wasn't that your request for the advanced advanced class?

    Mine are overworked. Carol makes wonderful vehicles with the fewest strokes possible. And her backgrounds are so simple and perfect.
